Seeking Some Crowd Wisdom For Our Next Stim

Featured Video Play Icon

We’re at a bit of a crossroads with our next stimulant candidate. Now, we’re comfortable with all the science stuff. Figuring out the optimal blend that will maximize the duration and the intensity and sharpness of the experience is what we excel at. But there’s other factors that go into a successful commercial product that go beyond having somebody take some sachets of capsules and tell us whether they like A, B, or C more.

Because it’s not immediately obvious to us what category of a product we might have on our hands, we’re seeking your input and feedback. In our efforts to engage with our customers more on social media, this post seems like a perfect opportunity to do so.

Here’s some of the basic data on Kittinger, which is the test code-name we have for our base candidate formula:

  • First round Kittinger base had an onset time of 45 minutes, which we managed to shorten to 15 minutes.
  • By tweaking the formula, we’ve gotten the peak effects to last anywhere from 3.5-4+ hours, making it very comparable in intensity and duration to the original Craze.
  • By tweaking the formula in other ways, we’ve gotten the total duration to last anywhere from roughly 7-10+ hours.
  • The extract is small enough to be encapsulated like a typical fat burner/thermogenic.
  • The extracts we have had access to in R&D so far have had terrible solubility.
  • The appetite suppression isn’t that strong, but that will probably vary from person to person.

So the caveats of going either the PWO or diet pill route are as follows:

  • Could work nicely as a 1 or 2-a-day capsule-based fat burner but the appetite suppression may not be world class, and the tail of the stim is fairly mild compared to its peak.
  • As a powdered preworkout, we are confident that the duration of the peak is perfect. But the effects will be felt quite a bit after the edge starts wearing off, making it relatively unsuitable for evening workouts. Additionally, there might be some serious problems mixing scoops of this stuff in water.

The question comes back to you:

Where do you see this kind of experience playing out the best? In a preworkout or fat burner? If you want a preworkout, would you be comfortable drinking something that mixes very poorly, or with downing something like a viscous shot that might taste pretty bad?

It’s happening either way. This stuff is good, and we’re pretty sure we have at the very least two rather unique formulas based on Kittinger. From where we stand, one of them is almost certainly looking to be a cognitive/mood booster. But the rest of the details are in the air. What do you think? Leave us your comments below.

Just give us something that will be close to OG Craze. The longer it works the better.

  2. Matt N says:

I don’t mind poor solubility and bad flavor as long as it is better flavor than creatine hcl. Pre-workout would be fantastic, as I love one that has a good cognitive boost, that was my favorite part of og Craze. I came across this blog post because I was trying to buy a few tubs of craze v2, I love the viscosity and nootropic effect.

  3. Dan says:

Pills for preworkout would be fine. Fat burners aren’t as good as something to help hit the gym harder, burning fat the traditional way. Just please avoid Yohimbine- any amount makes me nauseous and have diarrhea the rest of the day

Is this ever going to come out?!

  5. David says:

The Original Craze is the greatest ever preworkout…i use 1,3 DMMA supplement at the moment I get shipped to UK from States.. DMMA was banned in States , yet certain companies have challenged this… you have the greatest formula ever so why not do the same? Or at least ship to UK where it is not banned and I’m sure Predator will rip your hands off to sell it……. so many Punters worldwide are clammering for the Original Craze!!

  6. Andrew says:

I am done with a Preworkout. I will take SuperStim in the morning and this new Pre at 5ish in the afternoon. Go Driven Sports!

  7. Justin Slaughter says:

What if you made a preworkout gummy? Might be a cool selling point.

  8. Nicholas says:

I would ABSOLUTELY test out a new powdered preworkout. Im not in it for taste, but for the effects. I’ve been hearing rumors for a while not about a new stim getting ready to hit the market. I would gladly leave some feedback on this as well.

  9. Gary says:

I’m intrigued by both delivery systems. Would love love love to test powder and pill forms. StimManiac!

  10. Bashar says:

Did you say OG craze?! Too good to be true, I would drink it regardless of taste, yess if it’s that good.

  11. sam says:

Come on guys, we know you have Craze og stock piled somewhere and u have the formula.
It wasn’t banned in UK, So just sell it again on Predator..

I am willing to be a tester. I can be very critical of products and can give a great review with positive criticism, if any, from the vantage point of a normal and average Joe.

  13. Justin says:

Many of the preworkouts I’ve tried have some ingredients that are just not as soluble, but the only one I remember that was basically drinking sand at the bottom was Juggernaut. PreJYM had slight insolubility, but it was not excessive at all. Based on the video I’m not sure degree of insolubility we’re dealing with here, But it may be better in a pill. Although, it seems like for many, there is almost a psychological effect of preworkout drinks that isn’t achieved with pills, even if the pill works better they may feel as though it doesn’t.
Honestly, I’ve had good experiences with your products so I’d try it either way, but this product sounds most suitable for a preworkout and not a diet pill. If you’re looking to attract the largest possible customer base then trying to get it into a powder drink is going to be the best bet. Maybe try new flavors such as Peppermint or Cinnamon that may mask a bad flavor better than something that is extremely sweet.

  14. Tristan says:

Why not both? There are plenty of hardly soluble mixes out there but if shaken enough and taken quickly, it shouldn’t be a problem if it works. Those who don’t like the powder can take the pill but I think most everybody is looking for a preworkout similar to craze and we are tired of preworkout not working. Try increasing the amount of water needed for each scoop so that it will go down better.

  15. Jim Agate says:

I would have no problem taking a great pre-workout capsule if it kicked in within 30 minutes. Hopefully dosage could be in 3 capsules max. Rather swallow capsules than gag on nasty tasting powder that wont mix with water

  16. Adam says:

I would like to see a multipurpose energy/mood/fat burner pill. I’ve been searching for one since a certain gaspari pill was pulled years back, but nothing has hit the mark. I’d also love to try your new product!

  17. Nick says:

I loved the og craze because the effects drew out for the whole day. I don’t mind shorting something horrible if it works. I love the longer lasting pre workouts. Less of a crash that way as well. If people want to take in the evening just half the dose. I’m pumped for you guys well done.

  18. Colin says:

Pre workout , we miss the old craze
